The location and the staff were amazing. The room was very comfortable and quiet.

Amazing place, service and view of the city!

When we arrived at the place we could not believe it. What an incredible sight, place and building. Everything just kept us incredibly glad that we paid to stay there. The lobby is in a church! A church! The most beautiful thing. And the restaurant has the most charming and beautiul view. The rooms were big and comfortable. And the bathrooms were great. The spa was nice (although a bit small) and we enjoyed it a lot. The breakfast is quite expensive, but they have a 'formule express" which is less than half the price and MORE THAN ENOUGH! The whole service was amazing, you can tell they are working towards a fith star. Is honestly staying at a five star hotel for the price of a 4 star. Cannot recommend enough.

If anything: Tv could be better, and windows in the rooms are quite tiny. But honestly: It did not affect our stay there at all!

Great location, good value, impressive hotel. We would visit again.

Being near the Roman ruins and Cathedral, the location was great for tourists . The hotel was impressive inside and out. Good value for rating of the hotel. Helpful, pleasant and courteous foyer staff who spoke English. Onsite secure parking was great, but not free. We would definitely book the Fourviere again if we visited Lyon again.

Breakfast was expensive. The single beds were small.

Nice hotel, maybe a bit overprice, no coffee/tee making facility in the room which really should be part of the room at that price. Seating arrangment not sufficient, room could also do with comestic touch up (shower drain not draining, bit fallings from wall in toilets). staff, Comfort and cleanliness were great. The spa was disappointing, one steam room and one very small jacuzzy, with no seating area, it really feels like an after thought. The outdoor pool looked great but the very low outside air did not make it enticing... A good stay

Beautiful hotel with beautiful view

Beautiful Hotel, beautiful location.

Did not realise to get to Old Town and most restaurants, you have to travel via the funicular. We were in busy time so quite a process.

Nice spacious room, on-site parking, beautiful surroundings close to the Roman amphitheater. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful

I wouldn’t recommend eating at the hotel as Lyon has so many good choices everywhere in this city. Breakfast is super crowded, not enough seating, plate and utensils. We had dinner at the hotel on one evening, food was ok but the service was very very slow! The hotel seems to be under staff.

Nice heritage building, spa not as amazing as expected

Nice restored building made into a hotel. Nice view of Lyon from the room. Close to the funicular to take you directly into Vieux Lyon which was very convenient. Staff were pleasant but not overly helpful.

Spa and hammam area were not well maintained, we noted hair in the jacuzzi. No gym which was disappointing.

A/C. Pool. Beautiful room and surroundings. Separate WC. Lovely bathroom.

This is a beautiful hotel. The following comments are small matters, and for feedback only. So hard to get a cup of tea... We wish this was available in rooms. We had a drink at the pool, and were limited on what we could order due to glass restriction, but the people beside us had glass... The reception staff we asked didn't seem to know about the stairs that led to the lower street outside, which is a good shortcut, or the location of the closest Boulangerie (or couldn't show us on a map) where we could get a snack etc.

Fantastic and very comfortable hotel, a gem!

Fantastic surroundings in a beautifully atmospheric building.

Only issue and very minor - the air con and shower temperature were difficult to get right.
